Phil Laak has survived Day 2 of the World Series of Poker $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event. He had a bit of a roller coaster day with ups and downs before closing the day with a short stack of $15,000.
He was seated at the 2nd featured TV table so his fans will be able to check out all the action on ESPN when this year’s WSOP airs.
He began Day 2 with just over $40,000 in chips which held steady for the start of the day. He managed to almost double it up to $78,000 sometime after returning from the dinner break. In the last two hours of play for the day, the Unabomber’s stack dropped back down to $47,000 and then with the end of the day closing in, he finished down with just $15,000.
When play resumes on Day 3, he will be looking for a good spot to gamble and get his chips into the middle to double up and create some room to maneuver.
